Catching Up

So...a lot has been going on since I last updated you on my oh so interesting life. Rosie is now almost 3 months old, Lily is 7, the May long weekend was great, I just feel like I have so much to say. The only hard part though, is writing it all in a post. But here I am, trying my best. And yet, I can't. I think one of the best ways I communicate is through photos. If I'm trying to explain a certain event or something like that, photos just make it so much easier. So here are some photos from the crazy life of Emma-lee (in no particular order). Best. Weekend. Ever!

I literally had THE BEST weekend ever! and I'm not exaggerating either. So as you may know, if you read this post, I went to a homeschool conference for Friday & Saturday. First of all, it was awesome. The speakers were great, and the fellowship with other like minded homeschooled teens was so encouraging. I already can't wait until next year! But, the thing you have to understand is that this conference was about 3 hours away from my house. So we stayed at a friend's place while we were attending the convention. Now, it's not every weekend that we drive to Toronto. So when I found out that there was also a Jamie Grace & TobyMac concert on Saturday night {in Toronto}, I really thought that maybe we could make it work. But sadly, because we were attending the conference on Saturday night, we couldn't. I was REALLY disappointed! Jamie Grace & TobyMac are two of my favourite singers! And the one time they were coming to Toronto in two years. I was going to miss it. But, me and my friend planned a moment of silence and grieving for when we would have been at the concert. We are pretty weird. That's all I can say. But, we were serious. So anyways, Saturday came around, and we were happily enjoying speakers and socializing, when my Mom told me that we had to leave early because Wesley was acting up at home (with the babysitters and the other kids). I was pretty sad about that too, but I sucked it up and we left at lunch time. About 3 hours later, we arrived safely back home. I was in a hurry to get all my stuff in the house, but my Mom told me I needed to come into the house. She was acting kind of strange (partly because of her car sickness), but it was freaking me out. She said she wanted to talk to the three oldest children, so we all circled around her. I was so confused, I thought she was going to tell me how many days she had left to live. But, thankfully she just wanted to tell us that we had ten minutes to get ready to go to the TobyMac & Jamie Grace concert!!!!!!!! And man was I ever excited!....and relieved. My legs actually went limp. {not joking} I was sooooooo HAPPY! So in a short while we left. Another 3 hours into Toronto. But, 9 hours of driving in one day doesn't really matter when Jamie Grace is involved right? We also picked up Brooke on the way. {it was a surprise for her too} The drive down was filled with loud music, awkward selfies (see below), and pretty much fangirling. I honestly never thought I could be that excited for a concert! The music was amazing, and Jamie Grace even included a rap in her performance. I was really happy! DJ Maj, and Byron Mr. Talkbox Chambers were also there. It was such a fun night!!! And ^^ the best weekend ever! So enjoy these really bad photos from the concert, and some other little tidbits of awesomeness. Oh, and by the way.....my Parents are THE BEST! Love you Mom & Dad XD

Well, That Was A Busy Weekend!

Hey guys! Just trying to catch up with blogging again! I know, it's been like a whole 4 days since I posted anything last. But, I do have a good excuse. wait for it....I've been busy! No way right? Busy? How could loner Emma-lee be busy? It's pretty hard to believe, but it's true. I spent the weekend with my beautimous friend Brooke. She was performing in a play, Aesop's Foibles. And I went along to help. It was a great play, and as chaotic as it was, it was so much fun. Brooke was the fox :D
and I got to do her makeup! Thanks for your patience....

It was a great weekend with my talented acting friend, and I learned quite a bit about make-up.

Guess What?!

So if you haven't already guessed....my new little sis was Born! We are all so excited to welcome little Rosie Elaine to our family. She arrived at 7:58 pm. on March 18th 2013. And weighed 9 lbs. 8 oz.  I'm so super excited that she's here!!! a whole 11 days after her due date :/  So please pray that she stays healthy and happy! So far her first week is going pretty well.

Happy Birthday Wesley!

Today my favourite brother Wesley (or as I call him, Chookey) is 2 years old today!!! (and for the record, I only have one brother, so he is therefore my favourite)

Man, he is so cute, and I love him to death. His little underbite, and his long eyelashes! Oh gosh, he's just adorable. And so silly! He runs all over the place, and just loves going for "av" (atv) rides with Daddy. I am so thankful to have a brother like him. I mean, just look at that face! We're going to have a hard time keeping the girls away :b

 

Life Lately...

Has been pretty busy...hence the lack of posts. Yeah, sorry about that. I missed Awkward & Awesome Thursday, Friday's Favourites, and Saturday's Song. But, I will now present a peace offering of photos to you. So that my excuses might be supported. Enjoy!

Life Lately...

has been very busy. Lots of cleaning for Midwife visits, and travelling for Birthday Parties. I'm pretty exhausted, and I feel like I might be fighting off a cold. Lots of Vitamins do the trick! Yesterday we took a drive down to Grimsby to visit with these people. We had a ton of fun bowling, and doing each others make-up :b  It was a blast! So here are some photos from Life Lately. Enjoy!

Catching Up

Sorry I haven't really posted anything recently. The Nexicom tower near our house burnt down, so I haven't had Internet last week. Not Fun :(  But, it would probably be best for me to catch up with you a bit now that I do have internet. Right?

Sunday was crazy busy! My Mom and I planned a HUGE baby shower for a lady at our church. We spent the whole day setting up, having the party, and taking down.  It turned out really nice though (see below for photos).

Monday was a lazy kind of day. We didn't do any school, we were all exhausted from Sunday. So we slept in, and really didn't do much.

Tuesday was more of a "let's get back on track" kind of day. We homeschooled, and cleaned. Not too exciting....especially with no internet.

Wednesday was another busy day. I babysat the girls while my Mom went to a midwife appointment, and did a lot of schoolwork. At around 7:30, me and my Dad went to an art show/sale/competition that my artwork was in (see below). I found out that I won 1st place! and I sold the photo as well. Pretty exciting eh? Yeah, I was happy :)

Thursday was pretty laid back. We worked, cleaned, and yeah....basically didn't do much

Friday I went to a gym class and co-op. Then my lovely friend had me over for a sleepover. Complete with walking through stores with British accents. Oh, yes. We're awesome.

Saturday was spent hanging out with Brooke :) very unproductive, but fun.

And today, is looking like it's going to be another school day. I'm already looking forward to the weekend :/ Have a great Monday! and enjoy these photos from last week :)

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!

 

It's been snowing like crazy lately, and it looks like it's going to be a very white Christmas this year. I'm so happy to have gotten all the presents wrapped and under the tree, and all the parties are done and over with. I feel really relaxed. I simply adore the feeling of fluffy snowflakes falling on my hair, and sitting by the warm wood stove. I love grabbing my camera, and rushing outside to take photos of the beautiful birds that live around our house. I'm so blessed to have a family that loves me, awesome friends, and a place I can truly call home. I pray that all of you will feel the love and joy surround you as we approach Christmas, and that you will remember the true reason for the season. Have a fabulous 2012 Christmas, and may the Lord bless you greatly during 2013.
