31 Day Blog Challenge // Day #8 - Pet Peeves

 

Day # 8 // Biggest Pet Peeve

----------------------------------------------

Biggest pet peeve?? Well, I have quite a few...

 

1. The fonts Comic Sans, and Curlz. Ugh! They just scream, "Not professional! We were too lazy to pick a nice classy font so we used one of the most commonly used fonts ever!". Man, it bugs me soooo much. Especially when my own Mother uses Comic Sans on her business cards....*grimace*

 

 

2. The word Tarter. You hear it at the dentist when they clean your teeth, but then you can go buy it at the grocery store! I just don't get it! I go to the dentist, and the hygienist tells me whenever I have some tarter (or plaque. But, I think she prefers to use the word tarter just to annoy me...) on my tooth, and that I need to brush my teeth better in that place. Then I open my cupboard and find a can of...wait for it...CREAM OF TARTER!!! it's haunting me I tell you!

 

3. Cats. A literal, "Pet" peeve. Now most of you probably already know this, but I absolutely hate cats. Now, I wouldn't like murder a cat or anything, but I would never ever own a cat. I'm allergic, and they always seem to stare at me in a really creepy sorta way. I tell you people, there is a reason someone wrote this book.

 

4. Bathroom fans. The ones that turn on when you turn on the light, and you have no other choice but to go pee in the dark!!!! It's terrible I tell you. They are very annoying contraptions, although I must admit that they do come in handy after you leave the washroom (or when another certain family member does).

 

Alrighty, well that was fun. I've been meaning to do a post like this :b

Awkward & Awesome Thursday

Awkward:
Saying really stupid stuff // Being terrible at Geography // Trying to get my little brother to stay still while I take a picture of him...didn't work // Reading Old English // Doing the scene at the end of Tin Tin where they're on the cranes for charades. It was not my idea! // Babysitting everyday this week. // Watching this movie with my siblings....why do I do this to myself?? // Pretending I'm a cooking show host ^^ // Going to bed and hearing the sound of mice in the ceiling. Good thing I can't see them..

Awesome:
My Mom's due date today!! // Really Loud Music and flashlights! // Getting a letter from this girl. Thank you! // Knowing the lyrics to songs // My Life // Rosie // My Sisters :D // How I'm sitting on the counter right now. // Babysitting! // Wesley (Chookey)

Day #7 What's your Dream Job?

My dream job would probably be doing what this girl does. Being a graphic designer, and photographer, and combining the two for helping artists or bands with the artwork for their albums. Does that make sense? Because I think that would be so super awesome!

Hey Guys! So Sara posted about this on her blog, and I've been wanting to do something like this for a while now. So why not? I really need more motivation, and some post ideas, so I'm going to try this out. Since I'm kind of already behind, I'll just start with day 4 and go from there :D okay? okay.

      Day 5 - Favourite Movies You Never Get Sick of Watching

I'm not a huge fan of movies, and I rarely watch the same movie more than 3 times (if I can help it). Even if it's a really good movie, I would most definitely get sick of watching it eventually. However some of my favourite movies are Series of Unfortunate Events, Hugo, and Up (I love Up).

Well, there you go. I will hopefully try to keep up with this as best I can.

Getting Ready

We're getting ready to welcome baby #7 to the family! I'm super excited, and pretty soon we'll have another little girl running around the house :D Thank God, we're so blessed.

Saturday's Song // Britt Nicole
